Chocolate Plunge


Prep Time:  10 minutes
Yield:  1 cup

  • 2/3 cup Karo Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 cup heavy OR whipping cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Stir corn syrup and cream in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat. Add chocolate; stir until completely melted.


  2. Serve warm as a dip for fruit or cookies, or makes a great ice cream topping.


  3. Microwave Directions: Stir corn syrup and cream together in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100%) about 1-1/2 minutes or until boiling. Add chocolate; stir until completely melted.


  4. Variation - milk can be substituted for the cream. Sauce will be thinner and not as rich, but still very good!
