Homemade Kahlua

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
  • 2 ounces OR 3/4 cup instant coffee (decaffeinated, if desired)
  • 1 vanilla bean, split
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups bourbon

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan stirring well until very smooth.
  2. Heat over medium heat to a low simmer.
  3. Cool completely, transfer to attractive bottles, label and give as delicious gift.
  4. Great in coffee, desserts and over ice cream.
