Cranberry Oatmeal White Chocolate Chippers

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup butter OR margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups quick oats (not instant)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cream shortening, butter and brown sugar in a large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer. Beat in corn syrup, milk, egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and oats; mix on low speed until combined. Stir in cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  3. Drop by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until edges begin to brown. Remove cookies from baking sheet to cool on wire rack.
