Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 can (12 ounces) club soda or seltzer, chilled
  • Ice cubes for serving

Directions

  1. Combine corn syrup, lemon slices, orange slices and brandy in large pitcher. Let stand 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in wine, orange juice and lemon juice. Refrigerate.
  3. Just before serving, add soda and ice cubes.
